Expert Council

Expert Council of FinPotrebSoyuz

The reason to found the Expert Council was to provide FinPotrebSoyuz with experts. Expert Council consists of financial market professionals.

Chief subjects of the Expert Council are:

Analysis of the current state of affairs in the field of protection of consumers' rights in certain sectors of the financial market,
Analysis of the current legislation and regulatory base of the ministries and authorities from the point of protection of financial service consumers' rights and statutory interests,
Analysis and detection of factors, jeopardizing financial stability of the financial consumer market in whole and part,
Development of propositions on improvement of the legislative and regulatory base,
Analysis of law-enforcement practice of ministries and authorities,
Examination and adoption ofFinPotrebSoyuz opinion letters, regarding regulatory documents,
Carrying out expertizes and adoption of their results,
Examination and expert opinion letter on propositions of FinPotrebSoyuzparticipation as suppliant in collective action, in order to protect financial service consumers' rights and statutory interests,
Participation as experts in arbitration and civil courts with the purpose of protection of human rights and statutory interests.

Expert Council Sections:

Expert Council activity is based on sectional principle, in conformity with the chief branches of FinPotrebSoyuz activity. Members of Expert Council, Russian and foreign specialists can participate in activity of the expert sections.
